Copywriter

The key role of this position is to write copy and contribute to the overall digital marketing strategy for internal and external clients. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Writes copy in an appealing, informative, concise and easy to understand manner
  • Adjusts copy to meet the needs of the client
  • Meets agreed upon individual productivity goals by organizing workload in an efficient manner
  • Proofreads and edits are necessary
  • Develop marketing strategies and KPIs for digital marketing campaigns 
  • Create copy for websites, blogs, social ads, emails, and other marketing collateral 
  • Manage all SEO efforts including strategy and client communication 
  • Oversee Google Analytics activity and data interpretation 
  • Create and optimize paid ads on Google and social media outlets
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
  • Applies sound techniques in managing and accounting for company assets
  • Duties as assigned 


Education and Experience Requirements:

A high school diploma or GED is required. A bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or equivalent academic work experience is preferred. Candidates will need to be highly computer literate, including experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, and all types of social media. Candidates must be detail oriented, have excellent written and oral communication skills, willingness to learn, and be dependable.

Environmental Factors and Working Conditions:

The physical environment of this position varies due to client location but resides mainly in-house. The position typically requires significant visual effort and involves assignments requiring significant levels of concentration. This position requires lifting weights up to 10 pounds for camera equipment. Typical hours of operation are 8 AM. to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. This position requires accurate accounting for time and materials. Candidates must have a high tolerance for office pranks, shenanigans, and general tomfoolery.
